RSR1082: Texax Instruments (TI) WL1831MOD Wi-Fi module integration and CE certification

The Wi-Fi module is connected to a Texas Intruments microcontroller, the AM335x SITARA. The SITARA microcontroller runs Linux operating system and uses the WL1831 Linux driver provided by Texas Intruments.

RSR integrated in its design coded RSR1082 the Wi-Fi module WL1831MOD by Texas Instruments.

The Wi-Fi module is connected to a Texas Intruments microcontroller, the AM335x SITARA. The SITARA microcontroller runs Linux operating system and uses the WL1831 Linux driver provided by Texas Intruments.

A great achivement of this RSR design is that has been possible to apply the CE certification logo to the customer final product after the following reference standard test:

  • EN 300 328 V.1.8.1
    Spourious Emission par. 5.3.10; 5.3.11
  • EN 55022:2010;
  • EN 55024:2010;
  • EN 301 489-1 V1.9.2;
  • EN 301 489-17 V2.2.1

Other project features:

  • Microcontroller: AM335x SITARA by Texas Instruments
  • RAM: 1GByte DDR3 by Micron
  • Operating System: Linux (Kernel version 4.1)
